Meet Avaron Osguthorpe, MD
Dr. Avaron Osguthorpe is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon known for his clinical excellence and compassionate care. He earned his dental degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur Dugoini School of Dentistry and completed his medical degree at Wayne State University, along with his oral surgery residency at St. John Macomb in Detroit. He has been board certified since 2013.
With over two decades of experience, Dr. Osguthorpe is a core faculty member at the St. John Macomb Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Program and a guest lecturer at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. He is also active in a number of respected professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Michigan Dental Association, and the JAWS Surgery Study Club.
Beyond his clinical practice, he has volunteered on international surgical missions in Colombia and Ethiopia. In his free time, he enjoys climbing, cycling, and skiing.
